Meet New Hoka Hey Rider #1321: MarkyMark

I’m Mark Niosi — most folks know me as MarkyMark or Wolf. I’m also Hoka Hey Rider #1321. I’m a long-distance motorcycle rider who didn’t even realize “long-distance riding” was a thing until a few years ago… and once I found the community, it became home. I’ll be riding my 2025 Road Glide on the 2026 Hoka Hey.
I chase sunrises and backroads that teach you who you are. Those miles have taken me through many IBA, Tour of Honor, and MegaMonster marathons — from Utah’s red rock to the Cabot Trail cliffs, from Florida heat to Quebec’s questionable roads. I’ve slept bedside my bike, pushed through brutal storms, and learned more on lonely roads than any map could teach.

When I’m not plowing miles, I’m parked at home trying to keep up with my amazing wife, our two kids, and our chaos-powered fur ball who thinks everything — including my riding gloves — is a chew toy. We hike, camp, game, watch movies, and pretend weekends will be peaceful (they never are). Off the bike adulting, I’m a senior research scientist chasing breakthroughs in cancer and inflammatory diseases. Call it nerd mode with a rebellious streak — lab coat by day, V-Twin revving wolf by night.

Why I’m Riding the HHMC
Getting the call to ride where so many legends have ridden before me is something I don’t take lightly, I’m truly honored. The Hoka Hey for me stands for: honesty, integrity, resilience, warrior spirit, and a sense of community. I stumbled onto the Hoka Hey through podcasts, listened to riders like Riot, Wrongway, Hopper “ThatGuy”, Go Home Ken, Twister, Ice-man, Taco, Teeter, KSolo, Loko, Honor, Hawk, Frosty, Frankie Mountains, Tooley, Craig (Wild-Ass), Raindrop, Rocky, Alex and Moosey have also given me advice along the way….I come to realize this wasn’t just another endurance run — it’s a purpose-driven journey built on connection, character, and integrity.
My goal — beyond finishing with honor and integrity— is to push for a Top 20 finish and well don’t die. But I’m not racing anyone except myself. At the finish line, I know I gave it my all and that I rode my best on behalf of these 7 boys who are battling DMD.
Why I Chose Mile Monsters

I’m proud to ride for Mile Monsters Inc., a 501(c)(3) supporting boys battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) — a fatal muscle-wasting disease. These boys — Jaxson, Drew, Alfie, Turbo, Brody, Jack, and Gavin — are the true heroes behind my ride. Mile Monsters doesn’t just raise awareness — they show up. They help families directly with mobility needs, medical costs, travel assistance, special outings, and day-to-day support that genuinely improves quality of life. I’m honored to carry their names across the country in the 2026 Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge.
