Treasure Coin #123: Time Expired… But the Adventure Was Just Beginning

THE GODFATHER STRIKES AGAIN

You know you’re in for a memorable treasure coin hunt when someone says, “Go Hunt in Florida.”

Naturally, everyone thinks palm trees, sandy beaches, and sunshine.

Not this Florida.

This coin sits tucked away in the Berkshire Hills of Florida, Massachusetts—a tiny town where you can drive through in the blink of an eye and wonder if you somehow missed it. Waiting at a near by cemetery lies Treasure Coin #123.

The hunt began with an unusual challenge. Before anyone could search for the treasure coin, they had to stop beside one of the most unique memorials you’ll ever see—a vintage parking meter headstone with a frozen message: TIME EXPIRED. At first it catches you off guard. Then you notice it’s a tribute to a loved one. A parking meter whose final message reminds us that our time here is limited, while the memories we leave behind are anything but.

The first riddle to this coin brings you to this find…. The riddle reads:

“Where time has stopped and memories remain, Capture the moment before you begin the game. When ‘Time Expired’ meets peaceful ground, Beyond your lens, the next clue’s found.”

Mike “The Godfather” and the crew snapped their required photo beside the memorial and texted MarkyMark…a second riddle was then whispered: “Honor stands where colors fly,
Lift your eyes—not to the sky, but beyond time expired. Beneath the pole where silence stays, A hidden treasure ends your gaze.”

So, over the river, down the hill, and through woods they go, across the quiet cemetery. There it was.

An old veterans memorial. A flagpole standing proudly over those who served. The crew walked over, knelt beside the weathered concrete base, and carefully dug out a little dirt….a few laughs…A couple of “I think I hit something!”

Then suddenly…

Clink. The silver lid appeared beneath the soil.

Coin #123 had been found.

Out came the challenge coin, decals, poker chips, trinkets, and a few surprises tucked inside the canister. Smiles spread across everyone’s faces faster than the dirt could be brushed away.

It wasn’t about striking it rich. It was about discovering something unexpected in one of the most unexpected places. A tiny town named Florida. A headstone parking meter at the Florida Baptist Church Cemetery. A flagpole standing watch. And another memory buried in the ground, waiting for someone willing to solve a riddle, get their hands dirty, and share a few laughs along the way.

Because that’s what these treasure hunts have always been about.

Not just finding a coin…

…but creating a story worth remembering long after time has expired. 🪙🏍️🇺🇸
