The Denali Destroyer Headlight and D7’s Auxiliary Lights have proven to be one of the most valuable upgrades I’ve made to my motorcycle.
What impressed me first was the installation. I chose to integrate everything using Denali’s CANsmart system, which kept the wiring clean and tucked neatly under the seat while allowing the lights to be controlled through the bike’s factory controls. The setup was straightforward, and programming the D7s to function exactly how I wanted was surprisingly simple (you will need a laptop to connect to the CANsmart system to set parameters values). The flexibility to customize brightness levels, flashing, horn, auxillary connections (i.e radar detector etc,.) and switch functions made it easy to control and be tailored to my ride.

Once the sun goes down, now the real advantage becomes obvious with these lights. The amount of light produced by the Destroyer headlight and D7s is remarkable. Whether I was riding mountain roads, remote highways, or unfamiliar back roads, the visibility was outstanding. The combination allowed me to see farther down the road, better identify hazards, and navigate technical sections with greater confidence.
Just as important as the brightness has been the reliability. Throughout nearly thousands of miles, these lights endured heat and cold temperatures, heavy rain, sustained vibration, and countless hours of operation. They performed flawlessly without a single issue. The brightness gets your attention. The reliability keeps it. For me, great lighting isn’t about seeing better only when conditions are perfect. It’s about having the confidence to keep moving when conditions aren’t. Whether I was crossing mountain passes after dark, riding through remote stretches of road, or logging yet another full day in the saddle, the Denali system consistently delivered the visibility and dependability I needed. The Denali Destroyer Headlight and D7 Auxiliary Lights have earned my trust, this setup has proven it’s built for the long haul (not just by me but by others as well).
When your next turn might be a mountain hairpin, a deer crossing, or 500 miles from the nearest city, good lighting isn’t a luxury. It’s confidence. And after 30,000 miles (and counting), Denali has given me plenty of it.
